Church Alter

Light, Service & Table

Come join our faith community.  We are an open and affirming church.  This means we actively support diversity in all its forms.  See Open and Affirming statement.  We welcome everyone into the fellowship and service of our congregation.   Our Sunday Worship and Sunday School is at 10:00 a.m. (9:30 a.m. during the summer months)

Our mission is to grow in our relationships with God and those around us.  We find God in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Holy Scriptures, in service to others, and in the celebration and commemoration of the important milestones in the life of our families and communities.   See our Beliefs.

Whoever you are
and wherever you are on life’s journey,
                you are welcome here!

Today we are continuing our Stewardship Season! Our theme is “What Will You Offer?” This theme is inspired by our Interim work trying to identify our gifts and resources, and to identify the places in our community where our time, talents, and tithing are most needed. We will have Stewardship speakers each week to share why they are committed to this church and our shared work and ministry. Please give prayerful consideration to your pledging commitment.

FCC volunteers with local high schoolers will be going every Saturday to tutor young immigrant children at the Immigrant Family Services Institute in Roslindale. You will find it very rewarding. We meet at FCC on Saturdays at 1:20 and return by 5:30 PM. This is a great way to help our neighbors. If you are interested, please contact Stuart Sears (sdsears83@gmail.com) For more information, visit the church website (http://fccofsharon.org/young-immigrant-tutoring/)

Please make sure Stuart Sears has your cell phone number. To sign up for a time slot, please go to: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e094baca82fa6f94-christmas or speak with Stuart Sears sdsears83@gmail.com and he’ll be glad to add you in! This is an important fund raiser for the church! Please find the time to help make this a success.
